One attendee chose to be baptized, joining two others in publicly declaring Jesus as the only Savior
On June 9, 2025, the Maranatha Christian Church held the Western Canadian Seminar in Winnipeg, Manitoba—a day marked by the deepening of doctrinal understanding and spiritual renewal. The event featured lessons on Baptism with the Holy Spirit, The Body of Christ, The 7 Churches of Revelarion and the History of the Work.
Visitors made up 40% of those in attendance, including pastors from other denominations based in Calgary. They expressed amazement at the class on the seven churches from the book of Revelation and the presence of the Holy Spirit throughout the seminar.
Baptism Service
The blessings of the seminar carried into the next day, leading to a joyous feast as one attendee chose to be baptized, joining two others in publicly declaring Jesus as the only Savior.
Throughout the day, the Children and Intermediates received teachings from the Word of God, participated in special activities, and rehearsed praise songs. The spiritual feast concluded with a supper service, followed by a baptism service the next day.
The pastors present at the seminar included Cesario Sousa, Rodrigo França, Adonias Guilherme, Renato Hott, and Sérgio Da Silva. Joining from the United States were Pastor Donald Pelto and Ronildo Scherrer, the president of Maranatha Christian Church in North America.
