Our Services
The Maranatha Christian Church holds services from Monday to Sunday, with the exception of Tuesday and Fridays — when members gather with their families in their homes. Whether you’ve never been to church before or you grew up in the church, you are our guest to participate in one of our services!
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

What to Expect
We begin our church services by kneeling down during the opening prayer. At that moment, we ask for the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ, recognizing that Jesus’ sacrifice is the only way we can approach our Father in prayer.

The church service is divided into three 15-20 minute segments. We start with congregational worship, then the sermon, followed by a time of personal assistance in prayer for those who need it.
Throughout the time of praise, the praise leader may ask for a handful of spontaneous prayers of thanksgiving from the church, and any member of the congregation is welcome to give thanks to the Lord by standing and praying aloud. After the message, we have time dedicated to praying for anyone who comes to the service with a particular need or concern.
Don’t be shy about asking for prayer — we all need a blessing from the Lord!

In the Sunday Bible School, the children (ages 3-11) have kid-focused time of praise and receive age-appropriate Bible teaching in their classes.
Don't speak English?
Simultaneous interpretation in Portuguese is available in most of our churches!

Sunday

On Sunday mornings, Sunday Bible Schools (EBDs) are held, where biblical doctrine is taught and shared with all members in all churches.
Tuesday
Duration:
30~40 min
It is an online meeting to dive deeper on the topics presented at the Sunday Bible School.
Thursday
Duration:
30 min
It is an online prayer service in which the church prays together for special motives of the week and where people can receive prayer.
Saturday
Duration:
45 min
A special message service is held for those who wish to know the Eternal Gospel and have a real experience with God.
Sunday

A special message service is held for those who wish to know the Eternal Gospel and have a real experience with God.
Wednesday
Duration:
45 min
It is an online service in which the ladies participate in a period of prayer and also deliver a message to the entire church, as guided by the Lord God.
Saturday
Duration:
20~30 min
It is an Early Dawn Service in which the church dedicates prayers to the motive of the month. It is announced if this service will run in person and/or online.
