It’s so sad not to see the light,
To walk in darkness for all of your days.
The blind man Bartimaeus
Suffered as he sat by the way.
But then one day he heard a voice that
Brought hope and faith to his sad heart within.
The crowds around him tried to stop him
Bartimaeus cried out louder still:

“Son of David, was his plea
Come and show me mercy in my need
I want to know the light of life
To see the sun rise light up the sky.”
Bartimaeus was healed that day
Saw his Lord and was saved by faith
Then with joy he followed Jesus,
And he walked in the way.
