With God’s Holy Spirit present in my life
I have joy, I have joy!
I find comfort, perfect peace, the grace of God, and
I have joy, yes, I have joy!

Christ had promised us a Helper to console our souls,
To walk by our side each day no matter where we go.
The Spirit of truth has come to counsel, and advise,
And teach us how to walk in both easy and hard times.

I will follow the direction that the Spirit gives each day,
Obeying His commands so I walk in the way.
God dwells inside my heart, and I will testify
That the Lord has changed my life, and that’s the reason why:
